When people see you in a Bonneville, they won't expect the car to be as fast as it is. When they see you in a Firebird, they expect you to blow their doors off. Driving a Firebird with a V6 is like showing up at a gun fight with a knife. You are going to get your *&% kicked.

I had a 78 T/A 6.6 with the high performance engine and a 4-spd. Stock, it was 220HP. I now have a 99 T/A with the WS6 performance package. Stock, it was 320 HP. There is no comparison between the 2. The 99 would make my old 78 look like it was standing still.

Tim King got his V6 Firebird to 810 WHP as shown by the INTENSE dyno.
