Waht about an SSEi vs. WS-6 or the WS-6 and the G/XP?
The WS-6 will laugh in their faces. They run mid 13'* stock. But, against a modded SSEi or GTP such as ours, it would lose. The WS-6 is 325hp, and horribly underrated, so obviously 325hp vs. 240hp = 240 loses.

Good point! Thats why I'm never driving one (maybe a few exceptions), but I would usually take the coupe over the topless. In addition there'* alot more that can go wrong with a convertable and the frame looses rigidity.

THe book doesn't say. It has 3,338 to 3,474lbs. I figure the heavier one would be the WS-6 or is it the V-6.

The Firebird does not use a frame, only sub-frames it'* a uni-body design.

The 3,338lb would be a V-6 Coupe and the 3,474lb would be the Convertible Trans Am WS-6.

By the way my Trans Am is not a WS-6 and it'* only rated at 305hp but my first time at the track I ran a 13.54 in the 1/4 and a month later I ran an 8.54 in the 1/8.

Someone once said that a Firebird used more of a real frame then most unibody cars. I like the key lock covers you have though..

It also is supposed to weigh something like 3800-3900lbs. A disadvantage of 25 horsepower and 400lbs. is not going to help it much, along with the fact that it is FWD, so the RWD Firebird should be able to get better traction.
