Default figures.... (key fob)

I've been putting new batteries in my key fob every year or so because it'* so weak and lately has been very intermittant, so i dug up the spare fob which has a broken key ring and hasn't been used in over 7 years....and voila! It works like a charm.

...but it has a broken key ring

you can solder a couple inches wire onto the little square antenna too while you have it open... if you are feeling adventurous. boosts the range quite a bit.

I had the same issue with the 92 SSEi we owned for a brief period. I eneded up going to the junk yard and finding a good case. Swapped the internals and it was good as new.

Granted, the stampings on the back weren't for the 92 SSEi, but whatev..
