Default Falling Ice Broke the Passenger Mirror off

It figures. I get the engine miss fixed. Car is running great. We has a massive ice storm here in NW Arkansas and the falling ice broke my passenger mirror off. So, how much is a passenger mirror for a 2002 SSEi going to cost me?

Not sure of cost, but here'* a good place to start.

Morad Parts Company - 3800 Motors, Transaxles, & Stock Parts Members have had good luck dealing with Ed Morad.

Thanks. Gotta pull the paint code in the morning so that I can look for the correct color.

Try the local salvage yards first. You might get lucky.

I am going to disassemble the door this weekend. I have a repair idea before I start looking for a new one. If that doesn't work, I will hit the salvage yards. Found one painted for 195.

FYI guys, if you have the memory option, then the mirror is more expensive.

Tell me if you guys thing this will work. I am going to get thin walled metal tubing that is the barely bigger than the plastic posts that broke off. Then re-assemble the mirror posts with epoxy and slide those metal tubes around the posts. Let it cure good then put it back on the car. YES................ NO.................. MAYBE?

So the mirror never got scratched or broken itself? Is the door still in good shape around the mounting holes for the mirror? And the wiring harness is still able to plug together? I checked for you on a mirror over here in the northwest, don't have gold and the only thing available is a new aftermarket right now, black in color for $49.00 then you would need to ship and paint also $$$$.Sounds like you found one painted already not a bad price. If you fix the other one and it falls off driving down the road that would not be good Good luck
