does anybody know if they came on our cars and how to get ahold of the remotes for them

Deathrat knows...and I don't think so..they are tinkering with new hardware for 04 or 05 in some GMC trucks if my memory serves me correctly. Don't hold your breath :?

Sorry, no GM Factory units YET! GM is still in the R&D stage with the cars.......& the testing & retesting stage with the trucks.

wont happen for a while... gm/all manufacturers dont like them because theres items that go under a lot of wear when using a remove start... also if your little kids find them on the table and start pressing buttons it can turn deadly with all the attached garages...

Which manufacturers offer remote start?

Minneapolis has an ordinance that make remote start illegal. Something about leaving a running car unattended. Stupid if you ask me.

You gotta get us a little history here first. How do you know there'* a remote starter on your car? Have you found a 'magic box' somewhere? Did someone tell you? Has your VATS module been bypassed?

sorry there is a sticker under the hood that says this vehicle is equiped with a remote starter

Consider the possibility that it was removed before you bought the car. You're just gonna have to hunt for the module, if there is one. Extra wires going anywhere above the driver'* hush panel may lead you to the pot of gold.
