Even after converting to US currency I believe that is about $2-3k over what dealers are asking for basically the same car around Minnesota.

2000 SSEi'* typically sell for around 10-12k with about 30-40k miles.... that seems a bit steep

Yeah, $20k seems pretty steep, even at that mileage... ask $15k, then we'll talk.

You guys are spoiled :P

Around here, that'* an ok deal. I routinely see 2000+ with around 100000-125000 kms go for $17-18k CAD.

That is high, I paid less than that for my 2000 (had 45k km at time of purchase) over a year ago. In Canadian $ a good price should be about $16-17k (in Ontario anyways)

2.5 years ago when i bought my 2001 SLE with 53,000kms i paid 16k before taxes. I know the SSEi has the supercharger but not worth almost 4k more

Unfortunatly, out here, pretty much all cars are a lot more expensive than out in Ontario. I can vouch that (at least in our neck of the woods) this is a pretty good deal. I mean, it'* nothing to write home about, but still pretty good.
