Default Exaust system preferences?

Ok, I need an exaust. The stock one i have sounds REAL nice but i want a little louder (not too much just enough to hear over the spinning engine noise) no fart or over-my-music loud. and i just wanna keep it mostly hidden cause my stock is like that (comes to a razor sharp point right at bumper) i could go dual i believe cause i dont have cutouts or anything. But staying single is preferable (cause how am i gonna convince my parents i need dual exhaust). And performance gain would also be real nice. Am i being too picky or is there such an exaust system?

I heard Andys flowmaster and it was nice, but very harsh and aggressive sounding. Maybe it was his setup, i dont know if he still has the res or not. I love the sound of mine, maybe a lil louder would be nice, but its so damn low!

To get the sound that I have you have to remove the resonator. Bonnie94sse has the same basic set up as I do, however he left the res on. Its not as rumbly in your tumbly as mine is

My stock exhaust was great till it had to be replaced to pass the emissions test. Car was 15 years old to the day.
