Had a request for another.. and I decided to do a show and tell.
Clean everything off the maplight plastic

Cut the donor piece out

Cut plastic where it will be transplanted and measure..sand a little..measure and measure.
Tape in place and put some JB Weld on (remove tape before you take picture )

Allow JB Weld to set, flip piece and put JB Weld on top.

Go to sleep and wait for JB weld to cure... to be continued tomorrow.

Boy does he work fast.... its only been a few hours since i asked but i checked the last PM is only been a few Mins before he got started...... Lookin good so far

Sand for an hour by hand.. yes...an hour. When perfect.. take pics


Spray plastic adhesion promotor and load pics while drying

Spray with texture coating and post while drying

Spray first coat of paint (Babble while pics load...duh..I should press the load button huh?)

See what the end result will basically look like before a couple more coats of paint and reassembly.

Next pics will be completed project.

Time to sand more.. I see lines.
