Default An epic mistake..

Did a brake inspection. No big deal. Measured rotors and pads and checked slides and piston to make sure everything was cool. Hopped in the car threw the thing in reverse... buy the fatal flaw was I forgot to pump the pedal... So after stomping the pedal to the ground several times and ripping the wheel all the way over to avoid hitting anything I threw the thing in park and it came to a halt... No one got hurt. Nothing got damaged. Am I the only one to make this complete rookie mistake..?

not quite as bad but if it makes you feel any better two weeks ago I was checking fluids under the hood took my glasses off to read the dipstick. checked a couple of other things and closed the hood. I went to run an errand. Halfway up the street I realized things were a little blurry. Had to pop the hood in the middle of the road to retrieve my glasses.
