You'd need something just shy of causing body damage in place for a woman not to at least try drive over it.......After a Christmas incident years ago, I will never get in front of a vehicle with a woman behind the wheel. Wife#2, 1982. Went to get a Christmas tree at a lot. Man walks up and says, "Hey Buddy, can you give me a jump?" Paid for and put our choice in the bed of my pickup and pull it in front of his car. Wife crawls over the kid and get'* in the drivers seat. We hook up his cables and I say" Honey give it a little gas". She slams the pedal down (On a souped up 360) and leans over to pull the kid back in the passenger window at the same time. In the process she bumps the slapshift into drive and I barely shove the other guy out of the way and jump up. Why? I dunno. A 6'4' guy weighing 220Lbs does not make ninja moves gracefully. The impact Hyper-extended my previously damaged knee and broke the back legbone. I spent the Holidays on the couch drooling from the Codiene3 and beer. Ho Ho...... Ho.

Dude, I never stand in front of a running car. Did a brake job for a guy and asked him to pull forward. He started it, put in gear and went. The look on his face as he rolled past me, priceless. I leand over after he hit my work bench and said, you need to pump the brakes first.

Ya, I admitted that was my fault for not telling him. Now I always say, pump the brake till it'* firm. And I still don't stand in front of a running car.

I love learning how things work by tearing them apart. I wish I would have got started on engines at that age!
