Engine Cleaner
I recently bought some Gunk's Engine Brite in hopes of cleaning up my engine. Reading the other posts though it sounds pretty bad if you get some of the electrical parts wet. What parts do I need to make sure are covered before I start spraying this stuff on and where are these parts located? Should I spray on the undersides of the engine as well (ground up)? Also, can I spray this stuff on everything else without worrying about it eating through anything important (plastic, aluminum, etc)?
Thanks! :) |
Can I spray the stuff over the battery too? (covering the metal nodes) The others I think I will just cover with some plastic bags. Where abouts would the alternator and module be located in relation to the engine?

I just checked and everything is right there. Thanks for your help!

Well the GM Engine Shampoo (P/N 992878) is the best I've found, plus you can spray EVERYTHING with worry too!

Are you going to sell this "shampo0" on your site?
Or where can I get it from? |
Most likely a GM supplier, :smacks tim with wet trout:.
