Well, I thought they were just talking the fee for the tag, not taxes. The taxes are based on how much we paid for the car...

Most of use with higher reg fees dont pay property tax.

Ooohhh!! I see! Yeah, the property tax for the '93 was about $49, and for the 2000 it'* going to be $88.87.

I think I'd rather pay the flat rate, unless I had an older vehicle. But, I still don't have to pay emissions, though.

yup. $74 per year is right, me dad went and got his tags today too, they expire on the first of August.
