Eating in the car?
Do you let people eat in your car? With extremely rare exception, I never do. Too many chances to get things gummed up. That, and it takes forever to vacuum up all of the inevitable crumbs.
How about you all?

My wife and the kids don't seem to get it. They always leave food and liquid in the car. My wife is getting a new car and then I will redo (have redone) the interior. Once the wife has a new car then I will shoot anyone who tries to take food in it. Yes family included.

I'm a perfectionist!
NO FOOD IS ALLOWED no exceptions!
I'm the ONLY one who can drink in my car too (I can't live without my coffee)
I spend too much spare time polishing & cleaning my car. In fact, the rear floor area is covered in clear plastic to keep mud & dirt off the carpeting when my kids get in & out. I even got plastic mats under the car seat & booster seat to protect the seats too. All feet must be wiped before entry is allowed too.

I try to avoid driving where it will be muddy, because I know that I'll spend the rest of the day cleaning the car. When I have no choice but to transport people with dirty feet, I make them flip the floor mats upside down. Mud takes forever to get out of carpet!
Then do what I did!
Go to Walmart & buy 6' long carpet runner in clear.
You know , the stuff your mom used to put on the carpet at home when you were a kid to keep the carpet from getting dirty!
You can cut to fit around the seat belt anchors & moldings.
