Default Dumb Question?? I hate road debris

I was driving on i 40 about 85 mph on cruise and i ran over this plastic bag..
Almost like a giant wal mart bag, it got hung under my car and some of it melted on my muffler and some other pipes?? Will it make a hole or anything?

It'll make a hole in the bag. And stink for a day or two. If you haven't had flames by now, you're cool.

That happened to a friend of mine a little while ago. Smelled like crap for a while, but eventually burnt off.

That stinks man... literally.

I got hit by tire debris once. Made a nice mark on my car. People are so messy on the freeway.

I knew a guy that hit a part that fell off of a truck that was in front of him and it really messed up his ride bad. You gotta be careful out there cuz not everyone takes care of their rides like Bonneville owners.

Road Debris is no joke. I had cruise on 75..ran over a piece of steel that appeared so fast, I thought I would straddle it. I hit it with my rear tire. INSTANT blowout. luckily I was able to pull over safely and put the donut on..but it TOTALLY shredded a Dayton 60 series tire with about 15k on it. I was a little warm. When I remember back..it looked like the square reciever hitch of someones truck. So be CAREFUL out there and never assume something is harmless
