Welding the rocker panel on. Attachment 22079 Because getting images on line is a pain, I skipped right to the finished product. Attachment 22080 |
Looks good Dan. That's a lot of work that needed to get done and it was certainly done nicely!
|
I still have a bit more work to do tomorrow. Need to wash it down. I noticed a few areas where the paint was a little thin. Darn bad lighting. I'll touch that up in the morning. He picks it up tomorrow at 2:30. Then I'm going to go look at something. Something I've wanted to get for about a year. Will be a great addition to the shop.

Dan... you make it look easy. :thumbup2
I know better and have always thought about learning. |
It really wasn't hard Bill. The right tools make it easier. however, with so much rot, it was a pain.

Being that you can't bake the paint. How long should you wait before wet sanding and making it turn to a mirror shine?
|
I like to wait a week. Then 2500 grit.
|
So he's gonna bring it back so you can cut and buff it?
|
That's up to him. If he waits a week and then gives it a polish and wax it wont be as bad.
