Does your car honk?
Just out of curiosity, does anyone'* Bonneville honk and lights flash when you lock the car with the key less remote?
I ask this because when I was down at Willwren'* place the other day, he was surprised to see my car honk and flash and said that it must be after market and he had never seen a Bonny do that before.
I thought this was cool, but then today while driving my girlfriend'* parents 03 Bonneville SLE it honked and flashed just like mine when I went to lock it.
So is this just a coincidence that ours both have after market alarms or is this standard on Bonnevilles and did Bill have a little too much to drink that night?

Eric...
You must understand.. Wren has a couple of the 92-95 models. Many things changed in 96+ that he uh.. might be "unaware" of, from not having one to learn from.
92-95 would never a honk. If 92-95 honks, aftermarket alarm is most likely the cause. Either that or look for the fire soon.
96+ do honk and flash.

Eric, It'* called security feedback when the horn chirps with a momentary flash of head lights when locking with the remote. You can re-program to eliminate the horn chirp and so forth. There are several different configurations that you can program for security feedback.

My 92 and 98 both honk! I have a question... is there anyway to keep the headlights on when I unlock the car? They only flash but don't stay on. And my 92 only does is because of the remote starter :P
