Everyone that pulls up in my friends driveway, and there are a lot of people that go to that house, compliment on my car. One of the parents of his sister with a 04 Armada want a sedan and went to the house to ask me how much it is new. They thought my car is an 03'.

I think we all drive nice cars here. I dont know if I would say "nice car" if i saw a Regal. A few people commented my car near the college here. Another Aurora driver commented and asked me what exhaust i had, then when i told him he said he is going to look into it. But that is about it.

When I am driving my dads car people turn their heads cause its quite unusual to see a 16 yr old kid driving a jaguar *-type R around town.

since i've gotten this car, those gs'*, gtp'*, ultras, etc. have jumped out at me. definitely dont miss people asking me to purge my nitrous 50x a day in my old car. also don't miss those Lt/Ls 1 jagoffs that would always rev on me, then get pWnd. hate driving the vette. car brings on far too much attention from EVERYONE(cops).

I always look at a Bonneville. As a kid in the early 60s you had to look inside one while walking up the street. I'm hooked on 64s myself, but I like the newer ones also.
You should see the Jag, Beemers and Benzes faces when I dust them out of the hole in my big, fat, old 64!

Iwould have to say that yes, we have nice cars. This view is always slightly skewed by the group of people you are around. There are many people, especially on this board that are below the age of 25. When you're in that age group, many of your friends/associates drive what they can afford, and may not realize what kind of a deal the Bonneville is. The general consensus seems to be that a large car with a decent motor and incredible interior must cost a bundle. In my case my Bonnie is one of the better cars in our circle of friends, but considering that some of the other choices are older civics/preludes, and small trucks, the playing field may be slightly "lower". Another point that I've seen is that those that I've met that also drive Bonnevilles seem to have a little more pride in their car, so the car is always a little cleaner iside and out. Just my $0.02
