SFI, i don't think we are Multi-Port. In 1992, it changed to the L27 a.k.a. "3800 Tuned Port Injection H.O.", with Tuned Port injection, better intake, and different intake manifold. The EGR was removed for this year (burned many valves) and therefore it returned mid 92. Roller Rockers were put in place of the roller lifters, and are fully swapable. Your Ignition system is also slightly different, but still interchangeable just fine. As long as everything is well maintained you'll have lots of pull still. My engine is perfectly maintained, my fuel system was tested perfect, and it'* run like a dream. Members have 200,000 mile cars with no rebuild that still haul like nobodies business. Take them on!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you should have a four speed tranny on that '90 SSE. All FWD Bonnevilles have had a 4 speed auto. Make sure you are in OD.

awww well. mines got 200,ooo km and it runs fine but now i kind of feel like im missing something.......

you read correctly. the OD in my tranny doesnt work. 1,2,3, redline thats all

yep basically but for all intents and purposes , its a 3 speed who needs that lousy fuel effeciency anyway?

no slipping, nothin. otherwise the tranny is fine. doesnt burn fluid either i dont want to tear it apart yet so im going to let it go and see what happens. maybe fix it in the spring
