I did not want to start a new topic I went to pepboys to get the gasket for a 93lesabre N/A and thats the gasket I they gave me. I will need to go back and get a different one can some one post a pic or some thing so I will make sure that they do not give me the wrong one again. Im wanting to get off work early to do this before it gets dark so your help would be much appreciated.

I don't believe so, looking at an online parts picture from Advance Auto...the gasket you want looks different.

A couple posts lower, Willwren mentions that is the gasket for a 92-93 Supercharged application.

To me it looks like the only differences are the shroud around the gasket and the coolant passage at the bottom is blocked off in the center. I will be picking up a new one after work.

One thing I just thought of is it a must to have a torque wrench for this or should I be fine tightening it till it is tight then an a day or two check to see if it needs to be retightened

Torque spec should be followed whenever possible.

If you have a mechanical abilty and feel you can approximate it close enough, then you may want to take that chance.

92-94 L27 should use the 92/93 L67 gasket. If that'* true (99% certain), that is the correct gasket.

If you don't have a torque wrench, stage-torque them back and forth, a little tighter each time. You won't have leaks.

when i did my TB gasket it was just a rubber gasket...IT was NOT impregnated in Plastic....neither the replacement or the orignal one was........i dont believe that that is the correct one for the 93 L27

I went to a different store and picked up the correct gasket and bought a torque wrench while at it since I would need to get one eventually.

I almost had the throttle body off then I ran in to a little problem there are 2 nuts under the TB

The one on the right I was able to get out but the one on the left I could not get to it sits about a half an inch below the top edge of the crossover to low for me to get the socket on it attached the the wrench. I tried to just use a regular wrench on it but was not able to move it due to the top edge of the bracket being in the way and trying to move it to the next position did not work due to lack of room to place the wrench.

Am I just missing some thing or doing something wrong?

Head over to Sears and pick up the right sized socket that has a universal built into tit. It'* perfect for that job.

1993 SLE once told me I was in for a fight and then shocked him 3 minutes later when I handed him the throttle body.

Yes, that one is a biatch. You can use a box-end swivel wrench as well. There'* a couple ways to get at that one. And it'* unique to the L27.
