While it'd probably be fun to have a whiner under the hood, the SE ain't nothin' to sneeze at. Got enough power to have fun with. Uses cheap gas. While it might be missing a few of the gizmos in the dash (I miss the ECC from my LeSabre), it'* still plenty comfy.
I gotta agree with Mos. Some one said that the benefit of a whiner is the ability to keep accelerating up a hill while everyone is slowing down, well, the SE can accelerate up the hill, you just gotta depress the gas to go. Like duh!

My wife made the comment couple months ago that my Bonnville rides so much smoother over bumps on the road compared to her 2002 Neon.

I have a 1995 ssei, looks like its brand new except for the rims, nut ive got a little surprise im working on with the golds, but anyways, I like my car alot other than i have to feed her the expensive gas or else its gonna run like a Se, j/k, its kinda pricey to fix when stuff goes bad, but its all part of the game of owning a luxury family sedan!

The Bonneville is what God intended cars to be. He must be looking down at it from Heaven from time to time going "Dang, I got to get me one of those."

I beleave that is whats refured to as post whoring?

and to add to my earlyer post where i said i couldnt compare it oto another car.... well i think ill compare it to a SE....it faster and has better handle ing so in comparison to and SE i give it a 3 only because and bonnie is still a good bonnie

oh and its a 5 in comparison to a civic
never noticed a difference in handling between the 2! how do you figure?
I was sorta going buy what i have read on BC I know the Ei has a better suspention the a base SE, but i havent had the chance to put a SE through its pases yet so thats was just what i was under the impresion of

well thanks for all the information, keep it comming!!! I test drove a 2002 Grand Prix GT coupe yesterday, in great shape, and was not that impressed with it. it felt pretty cheap, and not that solid. I hope the Bonneville is better?
