Default Differences 7mm-8mm?

I take it our standard plug wire is 7mm. The wires I got are. I notice 8mm wires as a mod. But, what exactly are the advantages of 8mm over 7mm?

So, its pretty pointless to waste money on 8mm when you can just get the standard 7mm and be just fine.

the current will follow the path with less resistance.
8mm will have less resistance then 7mm

with most wires the actual core size is the same from a 7mm to an 8mm, the 8mm just has a slightly thicker insulation

I think Rouge has said he runs 7mm stocks on 8-Ball. If it'* good enough for him, it must be good enought for us.

If both wires were made by the same company, the only difference is the thickness of the insulation.

The largest difference you would notice is that they are harder to fit into the wire looms on your car.
