i think they are refering to the A/T because old school rwd trannys are Turbo-350'* and 400'* and such maybe he thought that they still are even in FWD cars

But then they refer to it as a turbocharger and said that it is making noise. If they thought it was the tranny making the noise they wouldn't refer to the tranny, even if it were a Turbo 350/400, as a turbocharger.

My husband said that it is the Turbo Charger that is making noise & that you can either just let it be, or remove the Turbo. It doesn't effect anything.

does her husband work at jiffy lube???
