Don't get a ragged out 97 SE. The interior and the suspension will never satisfy you. I'm fine with my interior because mine *isn't* ragged out. But the soft squishy suspension is yucky. If you had to go with one or the other, get the loaded hi-mileage 93 SLE and be prepared to rebuild an engine when that day comes.
Also like the idea of passing on both and buying a newer, lower mileage, not-ragged-out model.
