yea definatly sounds liek the wheel bearing failed and let go of the wheel... when i bought this SSE the wheel bearings were so bad i was too scared to drive it. but i had to make a 500 mile trip in it!

btw tom.. that PA if it'* missing the mirror.. the bonneville mirrors fit on those IIRC..

I also come up with a list of what we need to get off that car.. somewhat.

seats, most of interior, badges, grille, fogs, headlights (calling dibs), centre caps, wheels if we can, tails, wing, engine parts (airbox, coolant jug, washer jug, etc), trunkliners, spare cover, jack set, dashboard pieces, the black trim on the doors, and everything else.

we have to get this thing BARE

i feel your pain.... my car is makin funny noises when i turn at low speeds i thought it might have been a strut but it still does it after i replaced it...sooo now you got me scared i hope my wheel doesnt come off that would make my day
