On the back of the door for your fuse box there should be a diagram that shows what fuse is what and the amp'* either that or its printed on the fuse block its self

Chances are if it happened right after that it'* a fuse. Fuses can look good but still be burnt out, so don't just visually inspect it and put it back in. You need to test it with a multimeter or swap it with a known good fuse.

There is a plastic door(well should be) thatyou pull off to see the fuses on the inside..if you can locate exactly what one is for the dash lights check it but it almost sounds like a short sense you said only the speedometer and Tach are out...it could just be coincidental that those two bulbs blew together

what happened was i took out the factorty radio snipped the wires in the middle to attach the wiring harness that fit onto my new after marker radio and they havent illuminated since so i think i either hooked the wires up wrong or the fuse is blown, adn i did test out every 15 a fused and swaped a few just incase and they all were fine adn in the process fixed my cigareete lighter n my car cause i foud that fuse blown so if you say its a fuse for sure ill check again and if it doesnt work what is the problem im gunna re wire everything also cause i know that if i have certain wires attachedd the dash wotn light up at all , just looking for some help .
