Default Dancing Gauges!

I just started my 01 bonnie today and noticed that when you do all of the little gauges max out, then bottum out, then max out again before going back to the reading. I just thought that was pretty cool. I do wish that Gm would put that kind of attention to detail in things like, I don't know, the window control modules, but I thought that was pretty cool nonetheless. Do pre-2000 models do that too?

Actually twice. When you turn your ignition to the on position, it will do it then, and after it is started. My 97 does it, but my 91 Burb does not.

my 1990 sse'* dont do it. the only thing that does the max out is the temp gauges when you start them.

Any 92+ SSE or SSEi does this.

Any 92-99 SE or SLE does not.

Not sure on the 2000+ SLEs.
