NOt exactly a curse as much as just self-imposed stupidity... I saw a guy (that, sadly, i know) in a white 91 SE that was doing about 75 in the snow last night needless to say he lost control. Here is where the white bonneville curse becomes the white bonneville miracle...he was still probably going about 75 off the side of the interstate (sttep embankment) where he proceded to do 49/50 ths of a barrel roll in mid air (by mid air i mean when he was upside down his Ham radio antenna touched the ground). He then landed on the other side of this gulley on 2 of 4 tires which then quickly fell to all four. The only damage was two flat tires, two bent rims and a flattened exahust system from the whole car sinking in the mud to the floorboards at proly 75 mph. (and a guy that will proly never want to drive again untill he is 70 years old or so) I didnt have a camera on me at teh time but i will take a picture of the spot he did this when i get back up there with a camera. So i guess along with the curse there are miracles that go along right.... silver lining to every cloud..

EDIT... i would assume that there was some serious front end alignment needed now too :-?

Do White SC Buicks count? Had a white 99 Regal GSE. Coming home from short trip. Had run through a couple of light showers but road was dry. Topped a cut between 2 hills at 75, about 3" - 4" water running across road. Hydro, 180, backwards into ditch, hit driveway build-up, one hard roll, no more Buick. Took out entire left rear suspension, every piece of glass, right side roof down to bottom of windows.

No injuries to speak of, although they insisted I go to ER. They about paniced when they found I had a compressed fracture of C5 vertebra. Finally decied it was old, not related to wreck (I have NO idea when it occurred). Asked deputy who came to Hospital where exactly it had happened, he said 3.2 miles east, we usually have one or two right there everytime it rains hard to the North. State trooper said Maybe I ought to notify Highway Dept, I've investigated 3 or 4 one car'* right in that same spot. Went through there a couple of months later, There is a big new sign "Slippery when wet". Thanks folks.

At least it was not all bad news, the Buick has been replaced with a 03 Bonnevile SSEi. It'* Steel Blue Metallic though, so maybe we'll avoid the curse from here on.

Mine is just as it was before the crash. I still have the problems I had before such as the front brake rotors being warped and my AC blower motor is dead. Working on correcting those issues now.
