imo all that added weight for the gadetry to operate that door is a HUGE performance lose.

wasn't the dark blue one on eBay earlier this year, and IIRC the passenger side door didn't work anymore...

A few more years of improvements will bring some really solid ideas I think. The doors are a start, it would be nice to see some innovation and radical thinking in some other areas of car design.

BTW, that video with the Lincolns in it is very old. In fact, I saw that on tv around 10 years ago, maybe longer.
