I would take a Maloo in a heart beat. Imagine the look on the faces when you blow away most cars, and can even keep up with super cars.

Remember the Subaru Brat,Dodge Rampage among others? Even the latest Chevy venture never sold well. Kinda a "boutique" car if you will.most everyone see'* truck as vechicles that can work.would you cosider spending big bucks on a truck that proably not work hard? Most wouldn't I'm guessing.

Those were two truck wannabes that were either before their time or never really caught on. The first time I saw the Subaru Brat with the seats in the back end, the first thing I thought about was a bed passenger loosing their head in a roll over. Probably not the brightest intention...

Hmm instant redneck truck off the line. Already outfitted for passengers in the bed.

looks nice, i guess, not really my cup of tea...I would like it better in AWD with a v6, I think the 8 would be too much power on the rears..imo...kind of like a re-badged modern el camino lol

THe El Camino left because of sales numbers. This would have crashed as well. What is sexy, what appeals to one segment of car buyers doesn't make a hit. Viewing/saying "that'* cool" doesn't make for production numbers need in todays real world to pay for engineering, tooling, and production of a car. GM fell for 2 main reasons. It couldn't make a profit on most models as it tried to be a Company for all people/segments of the market. And made to many models at a loss (many of them Pontiac) ignoring the fact they weren't profitable while they made nice profits on the SUV trend. That trend vaporized and some hard facts they had ignored hit them in the face. Bringing hits out of Shows and translating them into profit doesn't happen often. The GXP as made/priced was a financial failure. And all the suggestions of how they could have made it better would have only made it even more expensive to produce than it was. It'* real easy to look at concepts and be awed, not thinking about the realities of being able to sell it at a profit. That issue overides demand and sales volume greatly.

Its just my opinion but yes its ugly to me. Cars have trunks, trucks have beds and trucks are supposed to sit high. I hate people who lower S10s, 150s, etcs. So no matter how a vehicle'* front end looks to me its ugly if it has a bed and sits low. It just ain't right.

Once again my view ain't shared by everyone.
