I hate chrome door handles....

Seriously, they're cheesy.

No one thinks if I painted my dash (the removable part like ELMACHOGRADO) body color, it wouldn't be ricey? I'm trying to avoid that.

I've always contemplated painting that part, the part that goes around the guages, ashtray, shifter surround, AL7 button surround, little things that hold the lights in the door panels that illuminate the window switchs, area around the window switches, and the door handle area red to match. But I was concerned that it would be too rice, who has done it Bill?

Cool, if you could do that, I wonder what the same thing would look painted in body color, hmm?

That would look pretty nice.

it would be might pricy. but bada**.
Pricy, how? I just assumed that i would take it out, buff it up, prime it then spray it body color with those mini cans from Duplicolor?

Mind explaining how you came at the pricy idea?
i misread what you said. i thought u meant to put carbon fiber on the body of the car.

If you were to pay a body man to paint your interior, it would be a little pricier than you think. Since we don't have a smooth dash, if you want it painted to look like the outside of your car with the same shine and texture you would have to fiberglass and bondo it. This is not a quick procedure either. If you want it to look perfect it might cost you a few dollars.

Wet sand the trim piece to a smooth finish and paint it yourself. OEM paint in a 7oz can matched to your car is $12 at the dealer.

Driverjohn did it. It'* posted here somewhere.
