Default Confessions of a Bonnie killer. PICS ADDED 56k think dmv

Well I've recently done the stupidest thing I've ever done in my 30yrs of life. I totalled my Bonnie. Here is the first shot I took of her when I first got her with my ma'* digital. Whats so irratating is other then a few scrathes this car was mint. Not a damn thing wrong with her .
sigh

I put her in a deep but narrow ditch around a corner I drive every Fu{k!n night on the way home from work. Plain and simple I just didnt make the damn corner. 1st wreck of my life. My arrogance of thinking I had the corner the whole way led to a full throttle ditch date. She was basically laying on her driver side when she laid to rest. I remember getting out the passenger door opening it straight up in the air like a tank hatch. The door is damn heavy in that position.

The whole driver side was damaged , front quarter, both doors, rear quarter. This was sh!tty in its own but the suspension assembly on both tires was literaly destroyed.

I'm still not over this (over a car). I have pics in my buddies camera who took me to the wrecker to grab my stuff and alpine. He just called and told me he put them on a cd for me. He didnt want to give me his cameras card because of some "personal pics" of him and his wife. Understandable. I will update this with pics, promise.

The common passion for the bonnie everyone here has is special. It'* annoying dealing with the people I see at work and such trying to explain to them about the man love or woman love you get with these elegant beauties. Thats why I finally posted this cause I know you guys here would understand.

Going car shopping in the A.M. I'm determined to find another bonnie wish me luck.

The n/a is more then enough for me now I've turned 30. If i had a SC 5 years ago I'd be doing crazy things like the classic of (Haro I believe) Nailing a curb in a parking lot. The n/a is effortless in passing and the rpm needle lounges at 2000-2200 going 65-70.

Right now I'm driving my winter beater 88 prelude (Yes a tiny *** ricer)but what sucks is its my car now not my winter beater. I got this just days before the tragedy.

Whoever said its the little things in life nailed it. God I miss turning off my car and the dome coming on automatically. Whats this a headlight switch did my bonnie even have one. Whats this round key for? Wait you have to manually unlock the door? Is this 4 bangers engine going to blow up going up this hill or what. How come my lights dont stay and help me see for a bit while I make my way inside the house. I work 2nd shift so I do alot of night driving and these thing were umm well what gave her a personality. I even miss that farting sound it made if I pressed on the brake to soon at start up before it was done checking off the brakes.

Go easy on yourself my friend. The 1st thing is you were able to walk away. Glad you're alright. We all have lapses in judgement while driving and make mistakes. Learn from your mistakes. Sorry to see your Bonnie destroyed, another one will take its place. Good luck shopping. You'll find another Bonnie, just exercise patience.

Silver, we've yet to see a member even mildly hurt in an accident. These things have a way of giving up themselves for us, even in insane circumstances (130mph into a ditch, walk away, or sandwiched between 2 eighteen wheelers on the freeway trying to make lane changes).

She went out doing the right thing for you.

You gotta lotta help in the NE area with finding a new car. Give us an idea of what you're looking for (model/year) and price range.

Or check the rochester area. There is also a guy who might be parting a 98 SSE in the area, so if the engine in yours is still good...

FOrgive me, but I forgot what part of CNY you were in.
