I picked up some amber bulbs for my corners and they are brigher in the corners then the clear colored ones, might be the way light transfers with the same color. I'll try to get mine done soon.

i got blue LEDs in my clear corners and when searching for LED 194'* purchase the highest amount of LED'* in the bulb plug which is 4 these shine nice and bright and they reflect inside of the lense. also another cool thing is if you would like to put the pontiac stencil on the lense and spray it u can use conventional paint as LEDs throw no heat compared to regular 194 bulbs. and they last a hell of alot longer. I personally have not had any problems with lamp moniter and have put them in a friends SLE and light blinks at the same pattern. i got my lights from http://www.autolumination.com they also have the 3157 bulbs to change out the other bulbs in the headlight housing
