I also have a sweet Pontiac key chain. It only says Pontiac, it might be the same one.

The coolant cap your talking about, thats not the one over the radiator is it?

Yesterday I was replacing my t-stat with the help of my friend and we had deconnected the coolant hose and pipe that the t-stat had gone in. Then my friend wanted to run a scanner at the same time and he (woops!) turned the key to far. Piping hot coolant started to spray all over his garage.

It was kind of funny, but it would not have been if I had been standing in front of the engine. ouch!

Then my friend said, "well at least we know your water pump is working".

The dealer has promised to replace the cap for free. Good thing it wasn't the rad cap or I'd be in trouble. The coolant res and windshield washer res are located beside each other in the old school Bonnies. Its the res cap, so no big deal, the ghetto method is working for now. Its not under pressure, just needed a stop-gap solution til Monday.

My new key chain is pretty sweet, leather backed, with glass/brass medallion, black background with the red Pontiac arrowhead and Bonneville written underneath in the new typeface

Hey yes! I'll reimburse you when I get to ON. You'll have to report back on the STB too, see if it helps your handling.
