Default civic vs. bonneville

hey so im just wondering

does the 2001 Bonneville SE even compare to the 07 civic Si ?
i know torque makes things happen and my car has 230 ft pounds @4000 rpm
...the civic only 193@6500

i know the civic is lighter than the bonneville, but it has less under the hood

i know 0.00% about gear ratios and how they work. knowing that gear ratios are important.

not to start the honda vs pontiac war ... im a GM or BMW fan really. Honda builds a good car but GMs are more solid.

Unless you can do 7-flat or so to 60 I'd say you're out of luck :(

IIRC, they run the quarter in low 15s.

Challenge the Honda to a race, but only if you each have six passengers in the car, 300 lbs of stuff in the trunk, and towing a small trailer

thats really depressing

atleast i can fit in my front seat with room to spare vs the tinnnnny honda. i had to, sorry.

well then how can a smaller engine move quicker than ours. heres the logic, our engine is a 3.8 L and that one is a 2.0 moving past the size of the motor, we have better horsey'* and more torque.

and does anyone know maybe how to convert Liters into Cubic inches. how many cubic inches are in the 3800.

The size of the engine doesn't matter too much when your car is WAY heavier than his. Power to weight ratio tells a lot more than just pure power numbers.
