Now peter have you looked at it close yet, did just the ball joint brake or did it rust apart like mine did and the controll arm broke?

I remember in my younger years when I saw a Sales Rep For Goodyear, there was a mechanic that would work on my car and only ask that I feed him. He wouldn't except money, ahhhhh those were the days. It was like I was in heaven.

I remember about 20 years ago when I used to work at Firestone, if you we're a member of CAA they would spend about 4 hours going over every piece of you're car and give you a very detailed report of all and every problem you had with you're car. They would rate it as needs attention, to needs imediate repair. They never repairs any of it, it was just a very detailed report of the condition of you're car. At that time it cost about $100.00.

A similar thing happened to my Bonnie on a trip back from San Francisco (to Southern California). My dad ASSURED me it was just low tire pressure and told me to forge on...I insisted on taking it to the shop before we got home when I looked at it...lucky me, it hadn't fully broken and was only partially broken/sagging.
