A cheap adapter to bring the M62 to the masses
#14
I just found this thread, my business partner Bob and I were the ones making these adapters. A lot of people noticed we dropped them off ebay. We were having a guy across the country do our castings for us, and he started sending us really crappy stuff. Some of them couldn't even be machined into shape. Then he disappeared off the face of the earth, taking all of our patterns with him.
We finally decided to go ahead and build our own furnace and cast them our damn selves. This is a real PITA (making bricks sucks!), but looks like it won't take too much longer. Then we're making all new patterns to replace our previous ones. We're going hit the ones we had before, M62 2.5" bottom and front outlet, M90 3" bottom and 2.5" front outlet. We haven't done a M112 yet, since we don't have a M112 kicking around to test it with.
Since we're starting fresh, anyone have any suggestions of what they'd like to see? Hopefully I'm not violating the advertising section of the forum rules. Thanks, James

Glad to hear from you. Best of luck with the casting. I don't think there would be much demand for the M112 (that would be the GenV blower correct?) as the Series III 3800 is somewhat of a rarity

Big market for M90 Series 2 mods.

This is going to make the non-3800 owners here ecstatic. I can't wait to see how many mods this inspires.
Me? I'll have to pass. A couple of these things will probably turn my transmission to dust.

Then again, considering the amount of room on the front side of my engine, having 2 superchargers would, uh, make my wallet go dry.

Oh, I know someone with a spare M90 at his house. Hmmmm.
