Oh and does anyone know of a bigger oil filter that will fit my car? After working on Chyslers for so long with 2 liter engines with oil filters twice as big as mine (and they also use 6 quarts of oil ) I just got to wondering if that kind of thing would help our engines.

The K&N Performance Gold oil filter that is meant for a 4.3 liter Chevy works on our engines and is offered through Intense or at any part store. Part number HP-2001, increases oil capacity by half a quart.[/url]

Nice shiny trans by the way.

X2 I ran a Fram filter for a 4.3 on my 95 (I think it'* a PH3589). It gives you an extra half quart and it also gives you a little more to hold on to when you need to get the filter off.
