Change the oil pan drain plug without changing the oil too
I want to try that right now! That'* one of the coolest things I've ever heard of. Did you have to make a seal with the shop vac, or was there some air between the tube and the valve cover?
This is just as cool as the magnet trick to get a needle to move....or using a hair dryer and a can of compressed cold air to pop a dent!

anyway back to the topic i guess
and as for a seal, dad poped the valve cover cap off, and put a rag around the opening and stuck the vacume tube to it
