Which cars are better? 1992-1995 SSEI or 2000-2003 SSEI

This is just my opinion. And we all know that opinions are like ears we all have two and they are usually pretty ugly.
Having driven my '93 SSEi and '03 SSEi.... I say the '00 + owns, but only by a bit.
Yes, the '93 may be worn out a bit ( 197,000 miles ) but the '03 has some miles also ( 136,000 miles )
Drive them back to back and you will definitely see a difference in chassis rigidness also. I can feel my '93 twist and move, but the '03 is solid as a rock.
AL7 seats in the '93 win in the comfort area, but the '03 looks much nicer and upscale ( seats changed in '03
) The seats in the '03 are by no means though "uncomfortable". I would have no problem driving that on a long road trip.
We get the dreaded Service Stability System problem in the '03, but, to me, that isn't a big enough problem to not have the '03.
As far as styling goes, I love both and really can't pick a winner here. They both look very aggressive, but have a totally different way of going about it.
Power... I like the * II much better, I enjoy the high revs and the fact that it keeps pulling when my '93 dies out.
To sum it all up, I LOVE my '93, but I LOVE Stephanie'* '03.
Every time I drive the '03, I leave it yearning for more and wishing mine was an '00 +.
Every time I drive the '93, I leave it yearning for more and glad that mine is a '92 - '95.
well there you have it, you should be able to easily make a decision there
Like said above, you should go out and drive a few '00 + cars and see what you think. One drive might equal love, or one drive might equal hate. You will need to decide for yourself, otherwise you will get a bunch of crazies like me on here telling you to get the '92 - '95 and telling you also to the a '00 - ' 03

Both generations being in good condition suspension-wise, the 92-95 will own the 00-03 SSEi in handling. The roll centers and center of gravity are quite different, and the advantage is to the earlier generation.
That being said, it may take a little money on rubber parts and struts to get the 92-95 back to where it SHOULD be.

YAY opinion time!
I think mine may help because I've owned a 94, 98, and now a 2000.
I liked how my 98 rode compared to my 94, but mileage might have been a factor...but maybe not because they were almost the same on miles when I got rid of each.
The 94/98'* ride nicer in a straight line if you like a floaty feel, but I love how the 2000+ corner. Its like I'm driving a CAR and not a battleship anymore.
However the early 2000'* have issues with paint, seats, etc etc. So out of the 2000'* I'd say 2003 is your best bet.
If you want a 92-95 I'd say a 93 is the best because its not a total hybrid complication, but I still liked my 98 more due to the supercharger of course (94 was N/A).
If you are going for pure aftermarket power then 98+ is the way to go only because you will easily be able to find performance parts for it.
There ya go. Take it with a grain of salt.
