Everyone here will have their own biased opinions, myself included. I've driven probably over 30 Bonnevilles from all 3 recent generations, and I base my ownership and preference on that.

My sister has had a '97 SE and now a '98 SLE. We both like my car better. She would trade me if she could and I have 30k more miles than her.

Compare SSEi'* to really get to the meat of the matter. Features, suspension, roll rate, center of gravity, and power are all pretty much exclusive to the SSEi'* being asked about in this topic.

Yeah Ido really need to do that but there are so many se'* around and a lot of SLE'* but not many of my kind of car top of line SSEI i'll never but a bonnie without and l67 or a northstar if i win the lottery

Oops, wasn't paying close attention. To the OP, my post was comparing two SLE'*.

Im a little fuzzy on the SLE'* I know the se are not supercharged and the ssei'* are l67'*
but what about the SLE'* these are the same mechanically as the SE'* right or can someone explain the difference because ive seen some sle'* supercharged also

SLE'* will have more whiz-bang features inside, but the same engine as the SE.

SLE'* are NOT supercharged in the 00 and newer. But most have the HUD.

Forget the Northstar. If you've driven an L67, the Northstar will dissappoint you unless your primary focus is high-speed passing on the freeway. The aftermarket for the GXP (northstar) is non-existent, and it has no low-end grunt like the L67.

There were no supercharged SLE'* out of the factory (2K+). This was an SSEi option only. The main differences are comfort and convenience type options (SE vs SLE) in 2K+
