Default Car wont atart

hi everybody.
i have a 1995 olds acheiva with a 2.3L quad 4

the problem is the fuel pump will not prime and i have no spark, but the car does turn over

i have changed the fuel pump the cps and i have checked all the fuses and even scanned it with an OBD scanner it came back with the car isnt responding, ant ideas?

the PCM affects both the pump and the spark?

Yes.

However, I made my diagnosis with the fact that the PCM isn't communicating with your scan-tool at all.

Not usually. Most PCM'* are in the engine bay.

Hang on a sec though, are you SURE you have an OBD2 system? Your car is a 95. OBD2 wasn't standard until 1996.

Your scanner may be OBD2, but the computer in your car is OBD1.5. Only a couple of scanners out there can read the 1.5 systems. Probably your only option is to find someone that can read them, or take it to the dealer.
