Car is back,Here's the BILL.........
No matter what the NON CCR'* say..
CCR is king when it'* working. Like Ryan said..if you've never had then working well.. there'* no point of comparision. It'* something you need to drive everyday and enjoy the differences.
I miss mine too Scott.

I disagree completely. Both my SLE and SSEi have FE2 suspension. The SLE has CCR, the SSEi does not.
The SSEi OWNS the SLE in handling, even if the SLE is in Performance Ride. There is no comparison. Aftermarket struts handle FAR better than CCR.

Comparing two items that are similar, for example the CCR new and functioning to a Sensa trac (still one step up from OEM) would be more realistic.
Can we compare a 16 year old strut to a 2-3 year old one of higher quality and standards and expect anything different than what you have mentioned... I doubt it.

Keep in mind my current setup only has Reflex in the REAR. I have Gabriels up front that are about 3 years old.CCR is a neat idea when it works (mine does), but it cannot compare to a good conventional strut for one mode or the other.
I'm perhaps the only member with two otherwise identical cars (both the same Gen and suspension), one with working CCR and the other without. The comparison shows a remarkable VERY obvious difference.
