Default Can someone help me out with electrical?

my 1989 bonneville sse has two chimes, one for the light that dings slow and one that goes beep beep beep beep when the door is open, while im driving sometimes the beep one goes off constantly and is irritating me to death. anyone have a clue as to what is causing this problem, :shock:

I think I kept hearing a beep in my 89 se, usually when i hit the breaks, but some times just a beep for no reaosn that I can tell. any idea?

my chime only works when it wants to. If it gets bad enough, just disconnect the chime. It is under teh dash pad, on the passenger side.

did you check to make sure there isn't a short or that the button is getting pushed down all the way and making a connection?

you mentioned this wire is under the dashpad, would that be on the top or bottom of the dash? i would like to get rid of that annoying beep, i dont really need it
