LOL. With all due respect that kill should be really frikkin easy.

Before my dad bought the aurora we test drove a 98 gtp. DAMN

Then we test drove the Aurora, which is high 7'* low 8'* 0-60. They are not fast....at all..... Its quite sad actually how slow the northstar cars are to 60. Even tho my dads aurora is 4000 lbs, jag was getting 290 hp out of an all aluminum 4.0L v8.

I dunno, I just think General Motors needs to put mroe time and effort into creating a car all around, not just making a car geared towards on thing, comfort, speed, or economy, reliability, but rather all into one. That is why Europe is untouchable......

My friends 98 XJR. His interior is as nice as the Aurora, drives as smooth as the new Devilles, and runs 0-60 in 5 seconds flat. Also has */C whine with 370 hp. Ill try and get a picture up, one sec.

My friend is in the car, it isnt his, hehe. But wow, Britain sure knows how to make perfect automobiles.....

I agreed those Jags are nice...

But i have yet to find an interior on a North American car that is as nice as mine

Yer dad should have got the Aurora with the Autobahn package...accels faster and revs higher.

But I'm off topic aren't I :P

*edit* Am I the only one the doesnt feel that high 7'* is not all that slow for a 3900 lbs luxury car----STOCK???"

aurora'* are a high 30k car, loaded they can top off at about 40k even, that jag BETTER be faster/better handling etc etc. besides, jag was going down the crapper pretty quick before ford took over in the early 90'* (somewhere around there). britain may have designed it, but america made it.

you forget though, about "nothstars being slow to 60", the aurora has a 4.0 v8, if the deville he raced had a northstar, its a 4.6 v8. eldorado'*/seville'* are only a hair slower to 60 than gtp'*, usually about 6.8-6.9 compared to 6.6. if driven correctly, ive seen them run mid 14'* stock. if your dads is a base, its low 8'* to 60, they actually weigh in at a few lbs over 4000, the autobahn is rated at high 7'*, that little extra gearing is really needed, it needs more! ive raced and beaten a L67 regal gs from about 50-80, very slowly pulled away. kick that thing down from a role though, it'll move quiet nice. it does have a dead spot, 30-40 (just like a gtp!) anywhere from 20-30 or 40+ it pulls really good. i was playing with a car the other day on the highway, its impressive how fast it went from 60-120 for a "slow car" dohc engines breath up top, pushrods put down torque. that and a 98 gtp is faster than a 94 ssei, he'* modded, but id still bet on a gtp

hey jim, there is 1 american car with a nicer interior, test drive a 97-98 lincoln mark viii. they have somthing else thats nice too, aftermarket
