Default Bye Bye Bonne ... It'* been nice knowing you

Well, tomorrow morning will be my last drive in the 7th fastest FWD Bonneville in the country. i will be trading her in on a new experience - a Black '06 six speed GTO!

i will be posting some parts for sale later (Saner sway bars, ZZP SS/IC, Stage 1 cam - this was already listed before, etc). no, headers or S1X - too big a pain to remove.

it has been nice meeting several of you. i may still run into you again if you come to the IDD in Nov - i plan on attending.

Good luck with all your car endeavors and please keep pushing the speed envelopes.

one thing i have learned is to take it serious and not laugh if a Grand Prix or Bonneville pulls up along side me at a red light.

later

Does the dealer know the "reputation" of your car?! Any change in trade-in value +/- because of the mods (I don't know the extent that will remain with the car)?

i hid several cards all over the car - hopefully some of them will make it through the cleaning process for the next owner to find.

yes, the dealer knew the reputation of my car. i tried it both ways - not telling them anything and telling them about how fast she was (i was working several dealers at once). Believe it or not the dealers that knew what she could do gave me a better trade in value by more than $500 average!! honesty is the best policy. The dealer i finally went with gave me $700 more than any other dealer and a brand new set of stock 17" rims and tires for $500 (i bought a GTO with 18'*).

Right on Honesty is the best policy.

Why did you get 17" wheels when the GTO came with 18'* :?: Winter beaters :?:

What sort of racing are you looking into? Strickly drag, maybe try autox and go from there?

Saw you're pretty busy over @ LS2gto.com... have fun! You got one of my "attainable" dream cars there.
