Brands....
Okay I'm going to be doing a few things to my car when the weather get nice again... I have a few questions about the brands of things I should use...
1.Valve Cover Gasket - Is the "Felpro" brand gasket a good gasket to get? Its from AutoZone...
2. PVC Valve - Would the AutoZone Brand Work? Its the only kind they offer... or should I check else where?
3. Where can I get a AC Delco O2 sensor? Autozone only carriers Bosch and Denso... I know Bosch is a big no no... but what about denso? are they good?
4.Fuel Filter - Does the brand of this matter? anything but bosch right?
5. Belden Premiums from NAPA and NGK V-Power TR55 are good plug and wire right?
or where can I get a good set of red spark plug wires since they will match under the hood?
You guys are going to kill me on this one... Currently I have bosch plugs and wires...installed before I even joined here and before I knew they didnt work well in bonnevilles (seems to work fine in mine but still wanna get rid of them)
6. Am I missing anything that I should be doing during a tune up? I already have a 180 degree thermo.. a flush kit and the green stuff to put back in to get rid of the Dex...
Sorry for so many question but I want to make sure I get the right parts this time.. Some of the questions might be stuipd but if i dont ask how am I going to learn right? thanks again

Hey Nick...
Bosch is ok..a good many of the parts on our cars from the factory have Bosch stickers. People have had many issues with Bosch plugs and O2'*.
The felpro line is good, it'* what I have on my valve covers right now. Napa beldens and Tr55'* will also be good to you.
The PCV..that'* fine.. on fuel filter..mmmmm I forget what brand is better filtering.

Most folks here dont seem to have a problem with the Denso O2 sensors. I believe Intense sells them, so they cant have that bad of a reputation in these types of cars.

My local AutoZones sell a PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) that is made by Champion Labs. The package backing is primarily a dark blue color, and it says Champion Labs on the back. Those are good products, and I'd run one no question. Otherwise, I'd go AC Delco on the PCV. For the fuel filter (and just about every other kind of filter), a Wix is a good option (also sold under the NAPA name at NAPA stores). Pick that one up when you get the Belden wires.
I didn't see a single stupid question. The only dumb question is the one you don't ask!
