Im just curious why alot of your opinions go against the bosch sensor :?: I've always consitered Bosch to be a pretty reliable brand. For instance my Mom has a Bosch mixer that is 30+ years old and has never even needed as much as brushes in the motor, its kind of funny that a wedding gift outlives the marriage by about 13 years LOL. Anyways about the sensors please, thnx

I can't speak specifically on the Bosch, but if the problems are similar to the Borg/Warner...I went through 2 in a year and a half. The first one died in about three months. The warranty replacement about a year later. I'm now back to the AC/Delco. Hopefully, this one will last longer. Just put it in about 4 months ago.

I had a Bosch fail in 30 days. jr's3800 did too, but I recall his lasted 3 months. Many others also.

If you want to, be my guest, but we've had at least 50 early failures and none that I can recall lasted 6 months.

I planned on going with the OEM sensor by the bad Bosch opinion around, but just wondered why, thanks.

I installed bosch plugs in my first Bonneville the day after I bought it..aka the day before i signed up here
3 months, the car had a bad idle, and a bit of a miss, i changed the plugs over to the cheapy AC delco OEMs, problem solved. Mind you the car ran excellent after I installed the Bosch plugs, i would of just assumed they would of lasted more than 3months/3000kms lol.
From what I have seen other members on this club deal with when it comes to bosch over my last 2.5 years, I have seen they haven't proven to be really good in our application. I stay away now, 02 sensors are either Delco, or NTK (divison of NGK), same with plugs, NGK, AC Delco, and autolite.
