Default Bonnie vs. Bonnie, is this a Kill?

A few days ago I was sitting at a stop light minding my own business, when up rolls another 94 SSE in the lane next to me. I glance over to see who was at the helm of this equally beautiful peice of machinery and was met with a devilish grin from the guy behind the wheel. At that moment we both knew it was on, the only problem was that the speed limit was 45mph. So the question was : who was goin to break first or were we going for blood? That light turned green and it was screamin 3800'* for the first few hundred feet. A dead heat all the way to 60mph, and then I got about half a car length in front of him, white knuckle all the way. The next intersection was approaching rapidly and the light was green as a bean, but we were doing 90mph by now and running the risk of being clocked at way to f-ing fast by a would be cop at that intersection. Obviously being two true blue bonnie owners (and probably not the brightest), we flew through that intersection and my HUD read 107mph! HA!!! STUPID!!! I won by that half car length because he had to slow down for traffic in his lane. We met up again in slower traffic and laughed at each other and gave each other the thumbs up. YEA! A little love between bonnie owners, thats what I'm talkin about!! Not really a Kill but a good story anyway!!!

BonDevil, I have a 94 SSE with 106,700 miles. By reading your post it seems yours still runs great. I posted a question in Mech. and Maintenance on oil. Do you use any type of "high mileage car" oil for older engines? It'* good to hear yours is running well. I've never raced a bonnie yet but my friend has a 94 SE with 150,000 miles and I've been wanting to race him since he got his car. Once I get my intake from ADTR I'll be even more ready to kick his a**!!

Default oil

Whats up 94sse :?: First of all, this should probably be in the mech. and maintenence forum but we'll give it a shot anyway Yes my car is in great shape. I got a Killer of a deal when I bought it. One owner, 65 and retired, he bought it because the trunk was big enough for his golf clubs!! I really don't think the car had ever been over 60mph!! When i bought it had 118,000 miles and the leather hadn't even been sat in. Starting to get some rust now but I'm going to post something on that later. As for oil, since i've owned my bonnie i use Castrol GTX, and love it. BUT I think I'm going to move to something more specific for my mileage. I posted a question with yours in mech and maintenence, and got some really good answers. I just have to choose one now!

How bout those hood scoops of yours, do you have any pics of them :?: I always wondered what mine would look like with them.

94 sse'* kick a**

Later.

Slick, where in * Cal are you? Hector of Angry Duck Tofu Racing is looking for a car to try a custom exhaust on. You could be a victim if you're near Simi. PM 99bonnevilleSE (hector) right away. I'll give him your name. What year is your car?

Yes Slick, where in Southern California are you and what year/model of Bonneville do you have? Just PM me here on the boards or email me @ Hector@angryducktofuracing.com. If everything goes right, you can get a free exhaust.
