Anyway...
Had a 94 SSE, it was red and thats mostly why I bought it. I liked the body and the SSE look. Learned a lot of the "what not to do to cars" from that Red Rocket.
Then the 98 SSEi. Loved it and bought it because I wanted the boosted version. Plus a series II had more options for mods.
Then this 2000 SSEi. I'm not sure why I bought it. I mean I like Bonnies and all, but a third one?! What sold me were a few thing: Color (black is just awesome), 2000+ body (it eats children), mileage (I wanted to start low, even if it was an 8 year old car).
To this day I still get crap from all my friends that I keep buying these things and I honestly DON'T KNOW WHY I KEEP BUYING THEM!!!
my addiction started with my '88. i loved that car so much and i still miss it to this day :( sure she was ugly as hell but she was still fun to drive. and then i came across this place and i learned there is SO much more to the bonneville world, and now i have vowed to buy another one as a soon as i can
the 00+ models first jumped out at me. nice and sleek looking. then my parents bought a 98 se. i loved that car. it was totaled in 55+mph t-bone(guy in a conversion van ran a light). i was impressed by how intact the car was. a few days later i saw a black 98 ssei with 9 spokers for a nice deal. traded my mustang gt in on it shortly thereafter.

I don't really care for them to me it'* just a car...
As a matter of a fact I'm going to trade them both in.
Hahaha kidding.
the Ei isn't my first boosted car.
But the GXP reaffirmed my love for the Bonneville.

my Parents just ended there lease in march of 93 on a Mark VIII......Dad decided that he didnt want to lease a car any more....we went looking
my mom fell in love with the Bonnevilles, we actually had a 93 SSEI picked out, ready to sign the papers, and the dealer drilled the front bumper for the plate...when he told them no too.......my dad saw it, and they walked out of the deal
a few weeks later we found the 93 SLE at the dealer in town.....rest is history
as for the 03.....i KNEW i wanted another one had to be Series 2 and HAD to be White on Tan, after 4 months of looking......and my dad wanted to get me a 00+ because he liked the body style......we found one 4 hours away.....drive to look at it and buy it on the spot
my parents want me to sell the 93 in a bad way.....but i just cant let her go, even though i love the SSEi

I knew it was the car i wanted from day one. Started saving when i was i dunno about 14 lol. Bought it when i was 16. (the black 95). Saw the car and fell in love with it. Drove it for 4 miles and it blew up. Never even thought about selling it. Started saving for a motor and then bought a motor. Drove it everyday until the tranny went.
Decided to buy another (because of my NA addiction). Started building that (while i am still planning the L67 build for the black car), Almost done with that build. And will hopefully be done the L67 build in the early summer (will cost as much as a new car lol, well not brand new but newer).
Talked the brother into a bonneville. Then talked him into a l67 swap. Trying to talk the GF into a 2000+ SSEI.
I think, i may have a problem lol
