I'd have more fun dropping the engine in a Fiero. But if your handy I see no reason why you can't drop the engine in anything you want.

the feiro is cool use to own one. got into mini trucks for now and the idea of a sleeper, a ranger or a *-10 with the 3800 */c would be killer the problem i think would be trying to firure out the non-essentials that the booney needs to operate that the the would or does not need

If you transfer over the transaxle and PCM everything should be fine. Getting the internals to work will be another story, spedo, tach, etc.

pcm i would use also after market gauges speedo, boost, tach, etc, as for the transaxle it would have to be front engine rwd using a turbo 350 or a 700r, but a rear monuted engine and transaxle in the bed would be different and give access to the whole engine in case of repair or mods but exhaust would be real short and i would have to modify a hard bed cover with air inlets kinda like a ram air, but it wouldnt be the sleeper i'm looking for

In that case, put it in the back of a mini van. Then you can work on it while a friend drives.

I always thought the 3800 SC would make a great in-board for a jet boat. Hint-Hint
